What a magic morning it was this morning! Not only did we enjoy the longest, hilliest walk in Bold Park for 8 months. AN added joy was some remaining rainbow bee-eaters – they havenβt all left yet. Down south at Donnelly River this week we heard a whole flock. They will head north sometime, and perhaps the ones we heard this morning were from somewhere near there.
Anyway, it was a truly delightful morning:-)

This morning we spent a quiet time in the cottage that friends own in Dwellingup, in the bush amongst very tall tree friends.
06:25pm: Rob and I are camped at Bremer Bay caravan park during a south-west wilderness experience. While we were preparing our dinner a HUGE flock (around 100) of white-tailed black cockatoos like these took flight from the big old gum trees around the park, and headed northeast.
