This morning, as I lay in bed waking up, I heard the haunting calls of red-tailed cockatoos feeding in the gum tree and tamarisk in our back yard. So I was up in a flash, dressed and out on the balcony with my camera to capture this joyous scene. It’s such a privilege to feed these birds when so much of their habitat is wantonly and thoughtlessly destroyed.
