Bit hard to see in detail, but I took a photo this morning as I WALKED in Kings Park of the early spring flowers – purple sarsaparilla and yellow native buttercups.

A year ago, with my first new knee about 2 weeks old, I hobbled around on crutches and saw very few of these delightful little beings showing their colours. I was very weak and sick then, still recovering from tonsillitis and the tonsillectomy.

So this morning was a very sweet, very poignant time as I thought, “I’d like to go for a walk” and I COULD!!!
